The
Yellow-A Room
(Infants 6 weeks to 12 mo.)
The babies in our center
enjoy a lot of one on one time. With only 8 babies (maximum) and two teachers
there’s plenty of time for rocking, reading and cuddling. The babies also enjoy
tummy time, music time and puppet time each day. But of course their all time
favorite part of the day is
when the teachers bring out the Mr. Bubbles!
We realize at Happy Time that every baby is different. That’s why each baby can
rest, play or eat on their own schedule. Each child has their own special crib
with their own special blankets. We also work with each baby at their own
development level, whether it be rolling over, sitting up or walking.
Michelle Grimm, Lead Teacher
Michelle has worked in the childcare field for 2
years. She has been working at Happy Time for 1 year. She loves to come to
Happy Time to see everything new that the children have learned and she loves to
be able to teach them new things. Michelle spends a lot of her spare time with
her 2 nieces and 3 nephews. She also enjoys photography, boating, taking her
dogs for walks and racing.
Jenny
Hebert, Teacher Assistant
Jenny has worked at Happy Time for 3 years. She likes
working at Happy Time because she enjoys watching the children grow and learn
new things each day. She is married and has one son. Jenny enjoys camping,
fishing and playing video games.
Connie Morrison, Assistant Teacher
Connie has been working with children for over 13 years. She has recently
rejoined the Happy Time staff and loves that everyone here is friendly and
helpful. She has been married to Carl for 38 years. Connie has two daughters
and four grandchildren, 2 girls and 2 boys. Her hobbies include crossword
puzzle books and playing Farmtown and Farmville.
Emily Finch, Assistant Teacher
Emily has been a babysitter for many years. She has been working at Happy Time
for 3 months. She enjoys watching the children grow and develop as much as they
have in the short time she has been at Happy Time. She lives with her dad, step
mom, two older brothers and one little sister. Emily likes to dance, read and
hang out with her friends.
December 2009 Newsletter Update
This past month, we welcomed our new friends
Rylee and McKenzie to our room and are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our
new friend, Karson to join Yellow A.
We wish good luck to Rylee, Keyan and Eli as they
moved to the Yellow B room to join the “big kid” crowd.
Happy 1st Birthday to McKenzie on the 3rd of
December.
We can’t wait for some snow to fall so we can do
some of our fun and engaging snow activities. All of us really like to play in
the snow once we get past the cold part of it!
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New
Year!
