The
Purple Preschool
(Ages 3 to 5)
The Purple Room is our
combined age Preschool Room here at Happy Time. We find that this is a huge
advantage because the younger children learn things very quickly from the older
children and the older children learn about responsibility and caring. When
necessary the ages do break up into small groups to do developmentally
appropriate activities. The teachers focus a lot on Kindergarten readiness and
social skills.

with her son John and also enjoys listening to country music and scrapbooking.

December 2009
Newsletter Update
As we begin the month of December,
our themes will be Toys, Holidays Around the World, and Christmas.
Since this is such a busy time of the
year, we will be taking only one field trip to the library on
December 17th.
Our colors for the month will be red
and green and the shape we will be working on is the star. We will
also continue to work on how to spell our names.
We hope everyone has a very Merry
Christmas and a wonderful New Year!
