The
Green Preschool
(Ages 3 to 5)
The Green Room is our
combined age Preschool Room here at Happy Time. We find that this is a huge
advantage because the younger children learn things very quickly from the older
children and the older children learn about responsibility and caring. When
necessary the ages do break up into small groups to do developmentally
appropriate activities. The teachers focus a lot on Kindergarten readiness and
social skills.
Laura Cook, Blue Preschool Lead
Laura has her BA in Elementary Education and has over 10 years experience in
childcare and teaching. She has been working at Happy Time for 3 years and she
likes seeing how the kids learn and grow so quickly. She has a husband named
Justin, a one year old son and 3 dogs. She enjoys watching her husband play
softball and baseball, taking her son on walks and playing on the swings.
Leiha
McNeal, Blue Preschool Co-Lead
Leiha has her
AA in Early Childhood Education over 10 years experience working with children.
She has been working at Happy Time for 5 years in March. Her favorite thing
about working at happy Time is watching the children learn and grow- she really
enjoys seeing children learn something for the first time. She has a very
supportive family- a mother and father that would do anything for. She loves
spending time with her nephew and niece and would do anything for them.
